Lens review: GEO Xtra 3D Violet WT-A61

Lens review timee!

I recently got chosen to be the 4th lens model for a circle lens facebook store based in Adelaide called Adelaide Little Lens! I am really happy that I was chosen and the owner of the store, Brenda, is so lovely and has already given me a bunch of lenses to review, so here's my first review!

Also the lighting in the pictures might be a bit odd as I don't know how to change some settings on the camera as it's not mine but I will learn eventually! ;)

Company: GEO Medical CO Ltd
Diameter: 15mm
Base Curve: 8.7mm
Water Content: 38%

Colour and design:

I really love the colour of these lenses, they're such a nice bright purple colour and the design is really nice too, I thought that with the design of these lenses they wouldn't blend very well with my natural eye colour and they might look alien-like but I don't think they do! I am really happy with how the purple blends so well with my eye colour!

Enlargement:

The enlargement on these lenses is okay, I don't think they make my eyes look super big but they do look a lot larger than other 15mm lenses I've worn, I think the thick black outer rim makes them seem a lot bigger!

Comfort:

These were reasonably comfortable, I had no troubles getting them in! After a few hours my vision got slightly blurry (I was staring at a computer screen for most of that time > <) but after I put some eye drops in they were fine and there was no irritation at all~

Overall:
Overall I think these lenses are very nice and they've got a really simple pattern and I think they would blend well with most eye colours, they're such a vibrant colour and very comfortable too!

AVCon!~

I am going to mash both days of AVCon together in this post because I can't be bothered making seperate ones! It will probably be a very picture heavy post too~ (I didn't take many pictures myself so I am going to steal all of the photossss! I will put a click-through link to the facebook/blog that they came from) ;)

Day 2~

For day 2 of AVCon Bethany and I cosplayed as Rin and Shiemi from Ao No Exorcist/Blue Exorcist! Originally I was going to do a crossplay of Rin but I just didn't like how I looked in the first wig I bought so I decided I would do a genderbend! I wasn't super happy with this cosplay but it was okay~

We both bought our costumes online, I had to kind of buy different bits for mine because I originally bought a boys uniform so I used the blazer and tie from that, used a white shirt from my K-ON cosplay and bought a black pleated skirt! I did make the sword bag though but that was super easyy!!

My face probably looks the nicest in this photo, I wish I looked better in the photos u___u I don't have a nice full body shot either! Boooo~

Day 2 of AVCon was really fun though! We got ready with time to spare but we ended up fiddling around a bit then had to leave in a rush because we didn't realise what time the train came, when we got to AVCon there was a huge line and no one was inside yet so we decided to go get coffee and food from breadtop!

By the end of the day my wig was driving me insane so I took it off and oh man that was a bad idea, my hair was terrible and we tried to make it better by wearing my rose wreath I bought earlier but that looked so ridiculoussssss with my cosplay > <

Anyway! we decided to go to quiz night at AVCon last minute and scored a table! Quiz night was a lot of fun, mainly because we had some vodka and shared a cup between myself, Bethany, Joe and Jason. That made us all a bit giggly and made quiz night better ahahah!

It was so late when we got home but we still had to do some little bits to our sunday outfits! D;

Day 3~

We had to wake up super earlyyy to get ready for sunday as we had lots to do!

Bethany and I twinned in handmade Rialkkuma (Beth) and Korilakkuma (meee!) themed lolita!
Beth came up the the Idea while on the plane back from Japan and said we had to do it! Naturally I agreed, what is better than kuma lolitaaa?! n__n

We handmade the little bear ears, tiny bows and everything!

In the morning we had Rilakkuma hotcake flavoured kitkats that Beth bought back from Japan!

After walking around for a bit Beth had to go to work, so I walked around with Joe, Jason, Josh, Sarah and Adnan for most of the day! kept kind of losing friends and finding other ones too > <"  I think we got a bit bored and Joe and I were scouting for butts, you tend to see a lot of butts at conventions, hahaha.

I got photos with some awesome cosplayers too, there is Jack Skellington, it was so awesome that they were on stilts too! There was Beemo and an Adventure Time group!

At about 4 we went to the pancake kitchen to meet Beth!

I am 100% squinty foreverrrr (; ̄Д ̄)

We had to rush back to AVCon for the lolita parade, we had entered in the Handmade part of the comp! There were so many lolita girls this year!

We also won the handmade section of the parade too! It was so exciting, we won lots of goodies  (^▽^)!!

AVCon was so much fun and I can't wait for next year!~ I'll leave some pictures of lolitas/cosplayers belowww!! n___n

Nana as Nerine from Shuffle (left) and Jimmy as Echo from Pandora Hearts (right)

AngiiCarrie and Lauren being cutiess!

Carrie as Princess Serenity and Shyen!

And the tiny amount of things I bought at AVCon~

Carouskel~

Eeeeeee!! Today I recieved in the mail my Rouge Aerie Designs Carouskel underbust JSK and it is so beautiful (≧∇≦)!!

Rouge Aerie is an indie lolita designer in Sydney, Australia.
"Rouge Aerie focuses on the lighter side of the macabre with forays into quirky, smile-inducing kitsch. In my prints, dark fantasy themes abound, skipping hand in hand with typically lighter inhabitants of fairy tales, like unicorns and little bunnies, rendered in meticulous detail."
Ever since she released pictures of her Carouskel print I just loved it! A few weeks ago she posted for sale the Carouskel underbust JSK in rust, being the sample it had some tiny flaws and it was going for a fair bit cheaper that her other dresses, so I bought it! n______n

Above is the exact dress I bought! Isn't is so lovelyyy?!

And now that lovely dress is in my possession! >;) The fabric that's used is soooo soft I just kept touching it! The flaws it's said to have are barely noticeable and I still think it is perfect. The only problem is that my torso is so tiny so the top half of the dress is a bit big so I'm going to have to take it in a bit ;c

Because I was Kate's first customer on Etsy she said that she would make me a little something extra too ヽ(;▽;)ノ What she made for me was a wired neck bow in matching fabric to the dress

Kate from Rouge Aerie Designs was so lovely too, she replied me so quickly! I also got a cute little thank you post card with the Carouskel print on it too but I didn't take a photo of that~ I highly recommend buying from Rouge Aerie Designs and I will link you to her Facebook page and Etsy below!

Birthday timmee!

On Friday the 27th it was my 20th birthday! I can't really believe that I am no longer a teen! I still feel so young ;o
Along with my birthday Friday night was also the opening night of AVCon, which is the biggest Anime and Video game convention in Adelaide! Seeing as it was my birthday and the opening night of AVCon, Bethany and I decide to twin in Angelic Pretty's Strawberry Parlour! I was super excited to wear it for the first time and even more excited to wear it on my birthday!! Feelin' like a princess on my birthday is the best~
But before I could wear Strawberry Parlour I had to work  (´Д`) It wasn't too bad though, time went super fast and I even got chocolates from my boss!  (*´・v・) After work I raced home to get all pretty, Bethany was over too so we got ready together!

At AVCon we played model so Peter could test the lighting for his booth at AVCon, so that ended up with a bunch of ridiculous photos!

After that we went out for my birthday dinnerrr with a bunch of my friends! We went to Aroma which is an all you can eat fresh Japanese buffet, it is always so good there and we order sooo much
There was still sewing to be done at home for the next day so after dinner Beth and I went to catch the train back to mine but then when we got to the train station we had missed the train BY 1 MINUTE, hour wait till the next one and it was already 10pm (ノ ̄д ̄)ノ we were SOOO tired and complained for about 20 minutes then once our friends left we got super pumped for no reason at all and went to the casino for free hot chocolate!

We got heaps of lovely compliments on our outfits at the casino, it was so nice~ We took cute selfies on the train home and then watched disney and ghibli movies while dying (sewing)

I had a superrr good birthday and spent my birthday weekend being cute in matching outfits with my best frienddd!
(●´∀`●)
I will write a post on the rest of AVCon soon!
YEEEAH MY FIRST PROPER BLOG POSTTT~~ ;)
